About the Lounge

Nestled in the heart of Seattle's Capitol Hill, Flower and Snake serves a niche subculture of enthusiasts, aficionados and practitioners of the art of rope. Commonly referred to as shibari, this practice is expanding as an art form across the world.

We offer classes, workshops and tying space with the hope of sustaining an artistic, pluralistic culture as rope craft continues to grow.

Our lounge includes 6 tying spaces perfectly sized for 2-4 people. Each space is appointed with a 7’ bamboo and a column available for hashira shibari.

Rope Lounge: Tie at your leisure from 6p-11p Thursday - Saturday!

Free Parking: Easy like Sunday Rope Jam from 2p - 6p Sundays
